Capt. Sheriff and 4 clients referred by Quonny Bait and Tackle fished Block Island on Saturday evening. 5pm-9pm. 4 Blues were caught on parachute rigs early. The team wanted to switch to eels before dark. The clients limited out on Bass although some of the Bass were released as a conservative measure as they took less than their limit home. The largest Bass was 22lbs and several other fish broke off during the evening . The surface bite did develop last night but getting down with eels was the productive pattern for Bass. Great evening on the water with clear skies, a Northwest breeze and 2 foot seas.
