Captain Sheriff's Fishing Charters took Wayne from Coventry,RI and Kim from New London,CT.on the free charter they won at The New England Saltwater show in March.
There was no bite near the once productive Conimicut Lighthouse channel area. After exploring other areas, Captain Sheriff found active fish in the Prudence Island area and Rock Point.The half day charter produced 8 bass with 2 very nice keepers. The bass were biting on Tube and worm , and topwater occassionaly.
The bass were caught in the edge of the channel in 20-25 feet. The biggest bass was 18 lbs.
