Captain Sheriff's Fishing Charters sailed with 3 guests on Friday afternoon to Block Island in search of Striped Bass and Blues. The bluefish were in such great numbers that they actually became a nuisance. After catching and having numerous Bluefish cutoffs, we finally found a spot holding enough bass that they could get a chance at out baits. The charter guests landed 8 keeper bass making the trip a total success with non stop action with both species through most of the 5 hour charter. The fish were caught on jigs and eels.
