Captain Sheriff's Fishing Charters and 5 clients fished Block Island Saturday afternoon from 4.30 - 9.00 pm. Clients caught 3 slammer blues in the first 3 hours on parachute jigs. From 7.30 to 9.00 pm, 17 keeper size Bass to 38 inches were caught on a variety of techniques. Surface activity exploded with acres of bass feeding on bait fish. We had numerous multiple hook-ups. At one time we had all 5 clients hooked up on Bass at the same time.
